How to travel in and around Prague?
Prague is not a very convenient driving city. Many of the major parts of the city are blocked off to cars. Therefore the easiest and most efficient way to travel around town is by tram and metro.
Like most other cities in Europe, it is best to use trains and buses to travel outside the city. Buses are generally cheaper than trains, however it sometimes may depend upon how long you want to travel and the prices may depend upon the specific trip.
If you are going to rent a car, drive with caution. Many signs are difficult to understand and hard to see. Also, trams have the right of way in the city, so make sure to look out for them before making turns.
